A deck of cards holds four suits within it. Diamonds, Hearts, Clubs and Spades. That's all they are right? Four suits in a simple card game. Well think again. Each of these suits are one in their own. They all have their own country and their own lives. One land divided amongst the four suits, peace has spread and lasted for centuries. Though something or someone has put these countries against each other. The Hearts and Diamonds have allied with each other and the Clubs and Spades allied with one another. Reds against Blacks.
Not many know what started this was and the ones who do dare not to speak of its origins. Why? Well some don't in fear of being killed, others for their own pleasure. Though when the stories are heard, not one of them are the same. Everyone tells a different version of how the war started, many are killed for it depending on the contents within the story. That's the main reason they keep their mouths shut.
War time is not a pleasant time for each of the kingdoms, some have it worse than others. Within each kingdom one figure falls, and with that a new one appears.

Footsteps were trampling down the halls through the Diamond Castle. A messenger had just returned from the battle front, though not with good news. The messenger pushed through the doors to the throne room and sprinted down the red carpet. He stopped a few feet in front of the thrones and kneeled before the King and Queen.
"I am sorry for the intrusion you majesties but I have dire news. I come from the Eastern front where we are fighting against the Spades army."
"Yes that is the front Jack is fighting. What news do you bring? Are they victorious or do they need more troops?" The king waved his hand so the messenger could continue.
"I am afraid it's worse. The Spades have gained the upper hand in the Eastern front and has drawn out troops back to the Eastern River."
"To the Eastern River! What in the world is Jack doing?"
"That is the reason I have come sire. The Jack of Diamonds has fallen. He stood no chance, the Jack of Spades arrived unexpectedly."  The King and Queens faces showed their fear.
"Were not the Hearts army holding off both the Jack of Spades and Clubs in the Central front?"
"They were, well as far as my knowledge knows of. The Spades must of called for him within the dead of night." The King slammed his fist on the arm of his chair.
"Without a Jack our armies will fall easily. We must find a new one. Number Ten!" A man from the right of the King walked forward and kneeled.
"Yes your majesty."
"Send out notices within our army and within the kingdom. We need to find our next Jack immediately. The contest starts as soon as possible."
"Yes my King!"
